A task can be created in Customer, Supplier, Product or Deal details. When create such task, an email will be sent to the person tagged in the Summary of the task if the person tagged is also a user of your Victoury environment, and to the customer if the task is related to a Deal or to the Customer and the option Notify Customer was checked.
When you are in the detailed view of the above mentioned items, Tasks menu is visible in Quick Navigation and also if scrolling down the page.
The example below is from Product detailed page.
In order to create a new TASK, click on +ADD NEW button available.
Select the type of the task (Call, Meeting, Offer Validity or To-do), the due date, select the person in Summary field using @ to tag it and type in the details of the task. The details will be imported in the Google or Microsoft calendar.
When SAVE is clicked, an email is sent to the user to whom the task has been assigned by tagging. The subject of the email is:
In the details of the email there will be two options available:
Add to google calendar
Download ICS file
Add to office calendar
To see the task in Victoury, click on the name of the user in blue, which is actually a link to the task: @Irina Hamos.
If you choose to add it to you google calendar, the option is opened in google calendar service and you can add additional info to the event into the calendar, click save:
If you choose to download ICS file, the task will be imported into Microsoft calendar:
The rest of the job is made by Google, Microsoft and Office calendars.
All tasks assigned are visible in the main left menu - Tasks. In the list of tasks you can see the details related to them: status, create date, summary, the relation (if the task is related to Product, Customer or Reservation) and the author.
A task can be searched by user name typing a name in the search field, or, other search options are to be found in advanced search.
In Email's tab you may check if the email for the task assigned was sent
