The Additional Deal feature is available when you are in the Deals list, after selecting a Deal from the list and click on edit sign:

Additional reservation general details

  • the additional reservation will have the same type (Option or Booking)

  • the code of the additional deal will keep the same format as that of the original deal(O or B+brand code+number) and an additional number will be added to the original code of the reservation: "-1", "-2", "-3"...

For additional reservations, containing values like 1,2,3…. the system allows adding additional reservations only selecting the last additional reservation created. If the user tries to create an additional reservation and the resulting booking Code will be an already used one, an exception is thrown : “B-123234-3 already exist”

  • The additional reservation details:

    • the customer will be the one from the original reservation

    • the billing address will be the one from the original reservation

    • the author of the additional reservation will be the user that created the additional reservation

    • the brand of the additional reservation will be brand of the user that created the additional reservation

  • The arrangements of the original deal will not be duplicated, the additional reservation will be empty in the Arrangements tab

  • Itineraries will not be duplicated

  • If the original Deal has a trip linked to it, the Additional deal will be created without trip

  • the system will be asking to duplicate the travelers (YES/NO)

    • if No: no travelers in the reservation

    • if YES: the existing persons from the original reservation will become the new travelers.

After the Additional deal is created you may proceed to add new travelers and arrangements.

You may change the customer for an Additional deal using CHANGE CUSTOMER feature.
